BETWEEN WAVES is a sci-fi drama movie that follows a woman's quest to reunite with her missing partner by crossing into a parallel world. Despite the belief that he is dead, Jamie is still visited by Isaac, a quantum physicist, who urges her to join him in a parallel dimension. Guided by a map and a notebook left by Isaac, Jamie sets off on a journey to São Miguel island in the Açores. As she delves into the truth behind Isaac's disappearance, Jamie realizes her own role in the mysterious events of that night. With the added pressure of a police investigation and her own personal struggles, including a difficult decision about her pregnancy, Jamie is tormented by Isaac's persistent visits from another dimension.
